Abu Dhabi Oilfield Services Company has signed a new representation agreement with InflowControl to bring Autonomous Inflow Control Valve (AICV®) technology to Abu Dhabi.

Headquartered in Norway, InflowControl engineers, designs and manufactures industry-leading and patented inflow control technologies that have been field-proven to dramatically improve well performance, reduce water cut and gas oil ratio, resulting in increased oil production in both onshore and offshore wells. With over 160 installations worldwide and a good volume of these wells deployed within the GCC, the fully autonomous valves have helped operators to reduce their operational risk, optimize their total cost of ownership, and lower associated production emissions.

Together with the ADOS’ subsidiaries, ADOS Engineering Industries and WellSlot®, InflowControl and ADOS will seek to enhance the in-country value relating to the manufacturing, assembly, and installation of the AICVs in the UAE.

Vidar Mathiesen, CEO of InflowControl states: “InflowControl are proud of the partnership formed with ADOS and look forward to providing ADNOC with our robust AICV® technology which will help unlock oil production from stranded wells left shut-in due to high GOR and high water cut and also dramatically improve new wells oil recovery while also reducing CO2 emissions.”

“We are excited about our new partnership with InflowControl and look forward to helping our customers use the game-changing AICV® technology unlock the full potential of their current and future assets.” said Mazen Shehada, Director of Business Development at ADOS.

ADOS and InflowControl will be exhibiting at the 2021 ADIPEC from November 13 to 18, 2021.
