Job Scams & Fraudulent Recruitment Campaigns
It has been observed that fraudulent job offers are been circulated on behalf of Abu Dhabi Oilfield Services Company LLC – ADOS (and its subsidiaries) by certain individuals/entities claiming they are representatives or subsidiaries or under contract with ADOS and entities within the ADOS Group.
Please consider the following formal rules of recruitment at ADOS:
- ADOS, and its authorized recruitment agencies, will never request payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process.
- All communications with ADOS employees in relation to recruitment purposes will always originate from a verifiable ADOS e-mail address (domains of @adosuae.com). ADOS employees do not communicate via free email service providers such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo.
- The formal recruitment process at ADOS will typically involve meeting in person with an ADOS employee or representative for an interview before any formal offer is made. Unauthorized individuals and fraudsters will generally request to keep communications “confidential”, will ask targets to respond “quickly” or risk missing out, will usually communicate via telephone and refuse a face-to-face meeting.
If you receive any unauthorized, suspicious or fraudulent offers or interview call, you should contact your local Law Enforcement Agency.
You may contact ADOS about any suspected scams perpetrated using the name of ADOS by sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
