We trace our roots back to the late 1950s with the formation of Middle East Oilfield Supplies (MEOS) in Cyprus. MEOS provided a wide range of oilfield related products and served as a platform for multinational oilfield service firms to operate in the Middle East through a network of MEOS sub-representatives from North Africa to Asia.
Abu Dhabi Oilfield Services (ADOS) is founded in 1972 as a partnership between MEOS, Hunting Energy Services and Mr. Musallam Maktoom to serve the UAE’s oil and gas industry.
ADOS becomes a 100% Emirati company owned by Mr. Musallam Maktoom. ADOS acquires 100% of MEOS and all its subsidiaries.
ADOS strengthens its portfolio with the expansion of its in-country manufacturing and engineering capabilities. ADOS continues the expansion of its service and technological offering through the acquisition of Safe Sea Services and formation of WellSlot Tubular Slotting & Perforating LLC. ADOS becomes the first oilfield services company to establish a manufacturing, service and training facility in Ruwais, the heart of the UAE’s petrochemicals and processing hub.
